As a boy I grew up my family was very involved in the wood industry. My dad a logger for twenty five years. My aunt and uncle owning a large wood recycling company. This was what started my love of a fine rare woods as I would see them in there full tree form and watch as we would make beautiful works of art out of them. When I was 18 I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to challenge myself to build a guitar. from only the knowledge of playing and my love for wood. My dads boss showed me the boards he had in his barn and one caught my eye it was a birch burl. Instantly I visualized it as a guitar. Soon after my visualization I put forth action and completed the project in the picture. To the left is how it tuned out. This fueled my desire to keep turning these big beautiful trees natures work of art, into stunning man made functional works of art. These musical instruments sing with life from the care and time we put into each and everyone. Now I proud to be able share this same wood with you. Whether you make one guitar a year, or you are operating a factory talk to us we can work with you whatever your needs may be. We can also custom cut you any size of rare maple for whatever project you are undertaking.
